How To Bandge Dogs Elbow

Think Public

Wandering between sites sustainable graphic design (of course all made in UK) I came across an agency, to define innovative is an understatement. The name, Think Public, says a lot about what they mean by design and communication and, glancing at their site, you can make fairly accurate idea about their work, both as results as a method. Just curious because, during my brief trip to London in late August, I went to track them down and have a chat. Meanwhile, be in a study that only clients from the public sector (a term that encompasses both the public itself is the tertiary sector) is amazing. Even more astonishing the fact that the atmosphere is relaxed (not your Italian fooling around). But the truly amazing thing is the method, or the fact of involving stakeholders in the whole creative process.
came to my mind as some considerations. Meanwhile, the difference with respect to the concept of community is the United Kingdom and Italy. For them, the community is (block, district, city) where a reality of group belonging is derived only from the fact of being there. Obviously, this creates the social differences between rich communities and poor communities but within them, there are no large discrimination based on sex, religion or politics. This belongs to the community makes sure that everyone is concerned about the common good. Policy in the first place. And this leads to the realization social design projects that do not change address (or not close) according to changes in local councils or boards of directors.
Then, it is interesting to note that the third sector is very interested in design, not only for fundraising but, more importantly, because it considers itself a social actor and, therefore, is very attentive to their image and do not appear constantly as a beggar (Oxfam shops seem to sell Benetton but only used, for example).
Finally, the fact that they share their methods (which I had already noticed among other eco-friendly design agencies) and to create networks of relationships. Then, probably, Think Public (and others) are of the Flies white, but at least they are there. In Italy would be regarded as political activists in the UK are simply a design studio.
